My Lil Pumpkin

Family Fun at the Pumpkin Patch

I will say as much fun as we had, it doesn't compare to Vala's Pumpkin Patch in Gretna, NE the slightest!  This is the first year in 5 years that we haven't gone to Vala's.  I'm still getting over that.  However, this pumpkin patch was fun because it was a lot smaller.  We didn't have to wait in lines and feel crowded. 

We painted pumpkins a lot this fall....it kept Zoe busy and entertained for a good hour.  Nice break for me! :)  She took her painting pretty seriously, and made sure we displayed her finished products throughout the house.  This "crafty" side of her tickles my heart. 

Max, on the other hand, painted the broom- with nothing.  He wanted in on the action, and surprisingly did it for quite awhile.  Bonus!  (Please note his outfit...missing pants, 1 sock, messy hair...so fun to be a boy!)
