Easter 2011

This year, we (Bart & I) hosted our very first Easter Dinner.   I was pretty excited to have some family out, but had to do a little preperation for the big event.  Did I mention I've never cooked a ham before?  Did I also mention, even after this event, I've still never cooked a ham?  Thanks Bart, for picking out the easiest ham to make and putting it in the oven for me.   With all the other things to make, that sure made my job easier!  We had the Kunnemann side over, but really missed Sam, Christel, Seth and their families.  We are now at the stage where it is almost impossible and very rare for all of us to be at the same place at the same time.  We enjoyed going to church together, a nice dinner, and then just kickin back.  The weather was rather dreary, so we had to stay in all day.  Nonetheless, the day was wonderful!

Mr. Max & Miss Zoe

Autnie Sylvia & Zoe all prettied up

Both Zoe & Max were soakin up all the "oohs and aahhs" from the family!

Max especially liked the attention and was really hamin it up!

"Kid's" Easter Table, although we had adults here too

I try to match Zoe while I can.  I know its a little cheesy, but there will be a very sad day when she won't want to match me or let me pick out her clothes.  For now, I shall use my power!

My sweeties

Aunt Caroline & Max match too!

Little sisters in their Easter best

Pretty Cailyn

Mom & Dad in the "holiday spirit"- After everyone left, Zoe said, "Mommy, MeMa & Grandpa are so silly with their bunny ears!  Do you think they have little tails too?"

The Guests (minus Max who is napping)- what a great family I have!

Handsome couple

So many tears after everyone left.  Zoe sure loves her family.

Just having fun

Recharged from his nap, Max was looking around the house for everyone.
At the end of the day after everyone had gone, I realized I never got a family photo.  So this is our attempt at a timed family picture.  Didn't turn out too well, but at least we have one!

Happy Easter 2011
