How is it that March is just shy from turning into April already? It seems like I was just preparing myself for our busy March, and now here I am again looking ahead at the April calendar. March has been a pretty good month in the pregnancy world- for the first time in all my pregnancies, I can go more than 2 days without taking my miracle pill. Now maybe April will be the month where I can say goodbye to nausea for good and no longer need the assistance of those pills. We also found out the exciting news of what we're having....but its a secret....for today! :) Another post. And lastly, we just got back from our super fun family vacay. A post for that too! :) On to the pics of March:
My little fairy princess.
Zoe ready for her first birthday party without me to tag along. It was actually a really wierd feeling when I dropped her off at the party and drove off. I couldn't believe Zoe was old enough to be going to parties all by herself, and I for sure couldn't believe I was at this stage in life already.
It was a princess party where you come dressed up as a princess. Of course Zoe had no problem getting herself ready for this party. She had a blast and asked me who was having the next party she could go to.
A special suprise visit from Uncle Adam was the highlight of our 2nd week in March. It was so good to see Adam and have him visit us out here in Colorado, but we were bummed Aunt Kari & the cousins weren't able to come along on this trip. Another time!
Max will randomly ask me when Uncle "Dadam" is coming back, and Zoe sure enjoyed getting some extra attention while he was here. In the evening before we put the kids to bed, Zoe just walked right up to Adam and climbed up on his lap to sit with him. She's pretty shy, so she must think Uncle Adam is pretty cool! :)
It meant a lot to Bart to have Adam make the trip to visit him. They had a good time catching up.
Zoe and Max are getting better at playing together, however, they still do a lot more fighting than playing when it involves something they both want or want to do. People keep telling me to give it a little time, and they will eventually play well together. Um, any day now?!!? :)
Spinning in the chair is their favorite thing to do together without fighting, so of course we do this a lot!
I came upstairs to get the kids up from nap, and here is what I found. I wish you could read Zoe's sign she had outisde the bathroom door. It said: Cute store. Now it makes sense as to why she came down during the middle of nap time to ask me how you spell that. I couldn't get mad at her b/c I thought it was so funny her little store setup and all the "cute stuff" she had for sale. She gave me some change so I could shop at her store. When I asked her how much I owed her, she said, "That would be $47 please." I only bought fingernail polish and chapstick. She's running an upscale boutiqe!
Oh Max, when will you use table manners that I try so hard to teach you? Feet on the table? Mouth stuffed full? But oh so cute doing it?! :)
And oh so happy!
And on to St. Patty's Day! We had such a fun day. Woke up to enjoy a late breakfast at McDonald's, and then later in the afternoon went to some friends for a super fun birthday party grill out. We had a blast! We have been blessed some great friends! Please tell me everyone remembered to wear green?! Bart's got some Irish in him, so he takes this holiday serious. We always wear green, but I did beg him to not make the cornbeef and cabbage this year since the smell is unbearable in my pregnant state. Actually, its unbearable to me when I'm not pregnant! :) He was sweet to oblige!
My lil Irish sweeties
Zoe sporting some Minnie Apparel the day before we left for our vacation!
Can you guess where we went?
Monkey business
When we got back from our vacation, I was super excited to see these in bloom. I really miss the green springs in Omaha, so I try and enjoy these little signs of spring as much as possible.
That's all for now. Will be back for more updating soon!
