thanksgiving 2012

Our Thanksgiving 2012 was spent in Omaha, NE with the McCoy family it was grand ol' time!  On Thanksgiving Day we had the traditional Thanksgiving meal- soooo yummy, and then we did our McCoy Christmas gift exchange with the kiddos since we won't be seeing everyone at Christmas.  Here are some highlights of our fun time we had:

Love to get food shots! :)  Miss Ade enjoying her turkey dinner.

Most of McCoy grandkids, there are 14 total!
So far no announcements have been made for any more
cousins on their way, but you never know! :)

B Man putting it down!

Bros hanging out- I love to watch Bart interact with his brothers.
They truly are his best friends.

Brooke & Audrey- the old cousins :) I can't believe how much these 2 are growing up.
  Makes me sad....and feel old!

When we got home from Omaha, the VERY next day Max was sick with respiratory junk.  Then he passed it along to the other kiddos, which then turned into the stomach flu.  Later both Bart & I got it, and we were a VERY sick household.  Towards the end of our sickness, I thought it would be "fun" to add just a little more to the sick pot by getting mastitis.  What the heck?  This is the first time I have ever had it, and for all you mamas out there that have had it:  WHAT AN AWFUL experience!! UGH!

I knew Max was sick when he passed up snack time & fell asleep on the couch just like this.

And yes our house was a DISASTER for almost 2 weeks.  And I like my house to be clean.  :)
Thankfully, as I type this, we are all healed from the plague.
So with that, this year I'm especially thankful for good health!
Hope you all had a very Happy Thanksgiving!
There really is so much to be thankful for, especially as an American living in a free country!
