and just like that

it happened.  kindergarten that is.  i dreaded the day & hoped it would be long away.  i wanted the summer to last forever.  but it came anyway.  the day.  she was ready and excited.  for that i am mostly happy.  mostly.  how does a mother that has been with her kid basically every single day since her child's birth just hand over her baby to the "world"?  in faith.  in prayer.  trusting and standing on God's promises, even if my knees are shaky.  and so we have crossed this milestone off.  first day of kindergarten.  and the day did end in smiles.  thankful.
