In a 2 month period I potty trained Jude & said goodbye to his "paci". It was a lot to say the least. Could have been worse. In fact, with both events, I really should have done it a long time ago. I just didn't have the energy when I was pregnant. So do it when you have a newborn & school is starting for 2 kids. What was I thinking? Well, its done now. Lesson learned!

Go ahead and get your laugh on. Both Bart & I did too when I first put this on him. We called this Ollie's space suit. The kids thought it was hilarious. Ollie went through a terrible NOT sleeping on his own stretch and I tried everything in the books to get him to. He was a very light sleeper and over active reflexes. I have 4 kids, and I needed sleep. I researched and came across this website that swore by these sleep suits. I was like, YAY! answered prayer! But then I saw how much they were & was like, oh man, I don't even spend that much on a pair of jeans. BUT i decided if it really did work, my sleep and sanity was worth it. So I ordered it and gave it a try. I'm not kidding! It worked the first night. He slept through the ENTIRE night like a gem! It was awesome. He continued to sleep awesome in it till he outgrew it. There were the occasional wake ups in the night, but not many. And now he's an all star sleeper. I swear by this thing. Or at least it worked for us. You can check it out and no, I'm not getting paid for this. Just a hint and hope that it may help someone else out there! :) Magic Sleepsuit!

One day I looked down and had that thought, "Ollie's sooo not a newborn anymore." It was a sad day. I love newborns.

We caught Jude asleep right outside his room. He also had his "J" light on too.
The puppy hat & corncob outfit were both Judes. Melts my heart to see Ollie wear them too.
