Memorial Weekend Part 1: The Zoo

We had a wonderful yet crazy busy Memorial Weekend as our family of 4. So busy that I had to make our "recap" of the weekend into different parts because we did so much and I have only so much time to blog about it. So here is what we started our weekend off with...a good old trip to the Henry Doorly Zoo. It was a blast! So fun to see Zoe run to and from the exhibits with such excitement and hear her call out the animal names. Yes, we are those parents that think our kid is so smart for knowing all the animals! Who isn't proud of their kiddo?!?!

Bart with our "brand new" $15 double jogging stroller we got at a garage sale! Nothing fancy, but does the job and saves the pennies! :)

Most of the time these 2 enjoy sitting beside each other. Well, Max does all the time. Zoe does 75% of the time until Max chews on her things (sunglasses) or touches her. Oh sibling love!

Max is such a trooper with all the places we haul him to and around.

One of Zoe's favorite animals

Lil Dude

Pretty sure Zoe already has found her calling: Zoo keeper. She LOVES animals!

Soooo coool!

Zoe chased this peacock till she could run no more.
This baby gorilla was the cutest little thing ever.

I really didn't think that this ball could be turned, but Bart proved me wrong! What a stud!
