- It's true, I was born and raised on a farm. When I meet people and this little piece of info comes up, people are always surprised that I was a small town, farm kid. I wouldn't have had it any other way.
- I love to read. Hmm, makes sense that I chose to be an English Teacher. I just wish I had more time to read adult books. Not that reading children's books isn't fun, I just miss more personal reading.
- I really don't enjoy talking on the phone. Now I do make exceptions to my sisters/mom/long time friends, but otherwise, I'm not really a typical gal that likes to "gab". I'm much more a face to face talker.
- You can tell me that I live in a fairy tale world that isn't so "magical" all the time, but I'm still a believer. It happened to me! :)
- I do have 3 children. I was never able to meet and hold my first child, but in my heart I equally love all 3 of my children. I often wonder what our first baby would have looked like, boy or girl, personality, etc. but am also so thankful that little one never had to experience the evil in this world. Safe in the arms of Jesus.
- Currently, our entire family is left handed. Crazy I know. Bart, Zoe, Max & I are all "southpaws".
- This may be shocking to most of you, but I grew up having no cable, and we continue to have no cable. Am I anti-cable or TV? Absolutely not, but for us it just seems like a time and $ sucker. Now, if you want to have me over so I can watch HGTV, TLC or Friends reruns, I will happily take you up on your offer.
- Yep, made a resolution this year, and I have every year since I even knew what resolutions were. I usually only do 1 or 2 so that I can actually follow through with them. I also keep them simple and "do-able". Is that a word? This year's resolution- Utilize our public and church library. Such a shame that we Americans don't take advantage of all the excellent sources of knowledge and quality entertainment that is free!
