october wrap up

what did we do for the month of october? well, we made choc. chip pumpkin bread...the best and only way to make pumpkin bread.  chocolate always makes things taste better! :)

 as you can see, max's main role in helping with the baking was "sorting" the choc. chips! :)

we went to toys r us and bought the kids the newest, high end toy that is out, an office chair.  it seems to entertain for hours.  even our friends, the reimers, got a whirl on it!   

 Max continues to request his favorite drink, hot chocolate coffee.  Bart & I "agree to disagree" on letting him have a cup to drink here and there.  I'd prefer him NOT to have any! :) 

 We've taken advantage of our geographical location and took a trip up through the mountains to enjoy God's amazing creation.  I seriously felt like we were getting teeny glimpses of heaven when we were driving by the leaf changing Aspens.  AMAZING! 

 Max's new thing is to pretend like he's a baby.  Zoe loves to play along with this.  When we take Max out of the bath and wrap him up in his towel, he looks up and says, "Baby".  That's our cue to hold our little bundle like a baby and ooh and aaah over him.  He totally plays it up.

we've enjoyed, sunny weather, rainy weather, and a few day of snowy weather. 

These kids LOVE staying at hotels.  Who doesn't?!?!

One day after church, Zoe asked me to take pictures of her and the beloved Manny.  Not sure why the request, but I never turn down a photo opt. :)

Love this little girl.  Wish she would slow down in her growin up!
