june days contd.

The next weekend of our June was spent with the Pedersen Family, our dear friends from O-Town.
Here is a "gormet" breakfast served at our house, and notice Andy is enjoying his breakfast with the kiddos! :)

Baby Beau, not so baby anymore.  When we left Omaha to move to Parker, Beau was a baby, so I always called him Baby Beau.  Not only is he not a baby anymore, but his "baby" brother, Sam, is not so much a baby anymore either...soon to be big boy ONE!  Where does the time go?

Always a happy camper, cutie pie Sammy.

We took a day trip to Colorado Springs to visit Garden of the Gods & a drive up Pike's Peak.  The weather was perfect, it even sprinkled on us a bit while we were there.  This mama gladly welcoms any weather that cools us off! :)  We had a ton of fun there!

Love this pic, poor Zoe can't see past my belly! :)

The next weekend, we made a quick trip to the Denver Zoo to see the new elephant exhibit.
It was SOOOO hot, as in temp was in the 100s.

Big boy with his big boy undies peekin out!

They look sooooo grown up here!

Biggest bats we've ever seen.

Zoe got a week of VBS, her first time ever.
She LOVED it, and would even lay out her clothes the night before so she
would be ready in the morning.

Meanwhile, this little man of my life & I got to spend some quality time together while Zoe was at VBS.  Max & I had such a good time together, and I'm so thankful that we got to spend those few hours a day just him & I, esp. before baby brother comes.  I may have spoiled him a bit too.  Each day we went and got Slushies, and on the last day we ate Rocky Road ice cream at 10:00 a.m.  When I gave him his ice cream and we sat down to eat it outside he said to me with the biggest smile, "Mommy, you been given me lots of snacks!  This is fun!"  Love this boy!

The last weekend of June was a baby "sprinkle" that my dearest friends here in Parker threw for me.  Not only was I blessed to have a lot of my closest friends here in the area attend, ALL 4 of my sisters & my mom came to it.  My heart was full & I felt so loved!  Cara made some joke here that I wasn't sure if she was joking or not...look at my ridiculous expression! :)

Court & Cara came a day extra so we could have some fun sister time.  We had a blast.

Brittany, whom you may remember from this post: Brittany's Shower , threw the shower/brunch for me.  The decor was awesome and the food still makes my mouth water!  Thank you Britt for all your hard work and making such a special day for me!

So that wraps our busy June.  And now we are one the 3rd week of July! What?!?!  So much to do, so much to look forward to, more on that later! :)  None of that has anything to do with being excited for our little one to come! Nope, not at all! ;)
