waiting

i'm not the first woman who is waiting, waiting, waiting, wondering when this little baby will make his arrival.  nope, not the first or the last.  however, when you're the one that is pregnant full term, you feel like you're the only one in the world soooooo uncomfortable, soooooo impatient, and soooooo ready to be done with the whole pregnant "duty".  i have nested more so than i think i did with the others.  everything is clean and organized that can be.  baby clothes and linens are washed, folded and ready to go.  lists are made and double checked.  yup, baby, its time for you to come meet us!  i'm really trying to enjoy my last days as a family of 4, but my sleepless nights and anxious heart is ready to be traded in for holding a sweet baby in my arms.  the end is in sight though.  if baby doesn't come on his own, then the baby will be given a "dr's orders" eviction notice for this friday at 8 a.m.  :)  i really am praying that he would come on his own, i have had to be induced for various medical reasons with both zoe & max, so i'd really like to avoid another induction if possible.  not that its the worst thing in the world b/c really its not.  i just would like baby to come on his own.  here are some random mobile uploads:

here's my weekly calendar for this week,
must be something important happening on friday...or maybe before!

my swollen feet, so gross!  with zoë & max my feet really didn't swell much, so this whole face, arms/legs/feet/etc. swelling business is not my cup of tea.  i'm not sure if its the summer air and heat that has triggered it or what, but i can't wait to have normal feet again.  on a very happy note, notice my polka dot toe nails?  we were invited last week for dinner at some friends.  when we got there, my friend had all her polish/pedi stuff out and ready to go.  she gave me a full pedi- soaking in the tub to foot massage to fancy polish and all.  it was seriously the sweetest thing ever.  and on top of that, her and her husband made a fabulous dinner for our family as well.  i'm not kidding when i say it brings tears to my eyes when i think of the extreme kindness she poured over me.   once again, i'm inspired to do something sweet like that for an expecting mama.  i'm not good with the polish business, but i'm sure i can think of something.  those of you out there that are good at doing toenails/fingernails, here's a great idea for ya to put on your list! :)  if you're not good at it, there is something you are good at it that can be a blessing.  have i mentioned that i have the most amazing friends ever?  i do.  thank you friends.

this was taken 5 days ago.  the dr. thinks baby will be small, which i'm happy to deliver a smaller baby.
this baby sure doesn't look or feel small though.  no room in the belly.

oh and for all you expecting mamas, i came across this and enjoyed:
list of things to do

well, that's all for now.  hopefully next time i post something, i'll have some exciting news to share!  if you think of it, please pray for baby and i.  i get a bit anxious around this time.  my prayer has been this past couple of weeks, "dear lord, help me to trust in you and your perfect will for my life."  requests:

  • smooth delivery for both baby and me...i've had some "interesting" things happen with both zoe & max that i hope not to repeat.
  • a healthy baby boy
  • baby would come on his own

oh, and guess what.  we still don't have a name picked out yet.  i better get on that! :)
