i'm really behind in the blogging world. i always am, but this time, i'm REALLY behind. i guess now that i've entered the "school" world, disappearing time mixed with tiredness has taken over. our school year has been off to a great start, so i can't complain. it has been fun to get a few hours with just the boys. i tell ya what, boys are wild little things, but man do they have their mama's heart! so here's some randomness of our life:

for Bart's b-day (in August) I made him his favorite cake...Maple Nut Chiffon...it tasted great...but b/c I left it on a bottle too long while we were out running errands.....
this is what the back looked like....it totally fell apart...oh well, tasted good. better luck next year! :)

and speaking of weather, this was on my birthday. no presents needed. this was perfect!

i kept having the kids play outside as much as possible in august and the beginning of september b/c i was just sure our outdoor fun was coming to an end....nope, we're in october & still enjoying 70+ degree weather. crazy!

since zoe started school, max has really taken a huge liking to drawing...he's getting a lot better & i love all the pictures he draws me....but some of them do have to accidentally be put into the trash. whoops.
