january 2014

it's safe to say all 3 kiddos love movies.  max didn't start out this way, but has morphed into a movie lover.  zoe & jude were born this way! :)

the boys tickling the ivories.  i love to see them "play" the piano.

this piano was from my aunt sylvia (my dad's sister).  my grandparents gave this to their 3 kids, and i feel blessed and hopeful that my children will learn to play on it.

in the piano bench was an old Lutheran Church Hymnal.  I found this inside.  Looks just like my Grandma's handwriting.  I am going to confirm it with my aunt.

one of my favorite hymns.

his hair never lays down.  i also never try to make it lay down.  its too cute!

mr. max

zoe and i's big new year thing was chopping off our hair.  i was super excited to do share the experience with zoe, but i had NO idea that zoe would look so grown up afterwards!  thanks celine for cutting our hair- you are the best!

more playroom fun

time slow down please!!!! :(

jude is sooooo silly and ALWAYS messy during lunch/dinner time.

but oh so cute!

and i'm pretty sure he learned it all from his big bro max!

zoe took this- makes me smile.  love my hubs.

it was SOOOO warm in the early weeks of January.

Warm enough for a game of baseball.

my left handed batter/pitcher/catcher

meanwhile, monkey girl zoe

and then she just drops when she's done.  she has no fear.  this makes me fearful!

oh hi!

jude is always watching and absorbing what brother and sister are doing.

poor girl, i think she may have inherited my "athletic" skills….or lack of

maybe she'll surprise us.  either way, she's our sweetie.

this is our bunny friend that we watch every morning at breakfast.

here comes the cold!

and finally some warmth!

my kids NEVER fall asleep anywhere other than in their beds or in the car.  this was so funny to me to see jude's head bobbing around while he was falling asleep.

meanwhile, gamer over here is trying to figure out a game we rented for our wii at red box.  his obsession with the game that day confirmed bart & i's original plan to NOT own games at our house.

too funny
snow was melting

and then it dumped!

but it was so beautiful
