10. X. Decade.
My Sweet Love,Ten years have been recorded in our love story! 10! To some of you "seasoned" couples out there, that may not seem like much, but it is! 10 years means a lot! It's an accomplishment! It's a blessing! So much has happened in our life as a married couple over the last 10 years. Where do I begin? We've lived in 3 apartments and 2 homes. Oh wait, do you count crashing my parents' 2nd home for a month too?!? Right around our 5 year mark, we moved states. We've had 2 Nebraska babies and 2 Colorado babies, and what a blessing they've each been! We went through my student teaching and you finishing your college degree in our first years of marriage. That wasn't easy. We celebrated new jobs and plowed through the various challenges life presents. We've spent so many late nights doing fixer upper projects together and sharing crazy laughs due to pure exhaustion. We've had more movie dates at home than I could ever count. We've averaged around 2 dates per month- so important to both of us. We've had some super fun travels both just the two of us and with our kiddos. We've prayed together, forgiven each other, loved hard and laughed daily. We've held tightly to each other when we lost 2 babies in miscarriages and clung to God's promise that He loves us and will see us through the storm. And He did, still does. You've both tolerated and laughed along with my craziness. You've truly taught me to a better person just by being an example that I wanted to model after. We've lived the last 10 years better than I knew we could. Bart, I'm always grateful that in God's plan for me, you were chosen to be my partner. You have my whole heart, and not a day goes by where I am not thankful for you. Thank you for being all that you are and do for me. Thank you for leading me & our family in a Christ-filled way. Happy 10th Anniversary to my greatest love and joy on earth. I love you, Bart McCoy!!
