Music from the Heart

When Bart plays/sings, the whole mood of our house instantly is happy.  Whether he's playing a song he's been writing and working on or the requested favorites (Twinkle Twinkle Little Star) from Zoe, life just gets sweeter to each tune.  Our life these past few months has been a bit crazy with the packing, moving, packing, and moving again, looking at millions of houses, waiting for our house to finalize with its close, various family trips, and so on can add some stress even when things are going well.  I'm so thankful God created music- it speaks directly to my soul & allows my soul to speak. It has such a soothing effect.   I was looking through my recent prayer requests/thanks/praise/heart felts over these last few months, and here is what I found:

Requests:
  • House in Omaha would sell
  • Find a Home in Denver area
  • Bart would enjoy and transition well into his new job
  • The Kiddos & I would keep busy & adjust well to our new area
  • We would enter a new Church family that loves & serves the Lord
Thanks:
  • Our house had a buyer in less than 3 weeks & has officially closed- PTL!
  • We've found a nice home here & can't wait to move in!
  • My parents have been so gracious to let us live in their home in Ft. Collins while our new house closes
  • Bart is doing great & loves the new challenges & duties he has w/his work
  • We were able to use our apartment pool & playground frequently this summer- loved it!
  • Just recently we've found a great Church and I've been able to plug into an awesome MOPS there
On My Heart:
  • The kiddos would find comfort again in yet another new place to "live"- round 2 hasn't been as easy & makes for long days for me
  • A little secret we are surprised but very excited about!
  • Wanting everyone to be healthy & happy in our extended family
So we have a lot to sing about as God has been so good to us and provided in more ways than we could imagine!
