memories

awhile back, Celine, the fabulous photographer, took our family pics.  yes, you will be seeing these repeated for our christmas card 2011. :)    after i looked through them, i had flashbacks from when zoë was about 9 months old and we took our very first family photos.  we actually took those pics about the exact same time of year too (not planned).  and what's so special to me about both years is the location of our photo shoots.  in 2008, we took our family pics in Elkhorn, right near Bart & my first apartment.  We used to go on walks on the brick road and along the train track as seen below.  oh such fond memories.  the location we took our photos this year is just south of Castle Rock where our favorite "drive" is.  it travels right along the base of the mountains and has some of the most beautiful ranches and scenery ever.  here's a look from 3 years ago and now.  and p.s. thanks Celine for sharing your amazing talent & time for us!
