hot chocolate bar

for zoe's 5th birthday, we had a hot chocolate bar party with her friends from church & mops.  we kept it super simple & super sugary! :)  its hard to think of creative and fun ideas in the middle of winter.  there are not a lot of options for outdoor fun, so this is the best we could come up with this year.  maybe when she's a bit older, we can have a sledding/tubing party.   

i wish i would have taken some pics of when the actual hot chocolate  was out as well as the hot chocolate "creations" some of the girls came up with.  i felt like i needed to apologize for the amount of sugar intake to all the moms when they picked up their girls!

and of course little brother max had to participate too.  he didn't seem to mind all the lady attention! ;)

for one of our activities, we decorated sugar cookies into reindeer.  i recommend this for a christmas or winter bday party.  super easy, minimal mess, and they all seemed to enjoy making & eating them!

happy 5th birthday to my little sweetie!  it was such a delight to see you having so much fun with your friends at your party!  we love you!
