golden

Still here!  Just living life- busy and full of whirlwinds at times.  Time to play catch up.  A while back, as in I believe March, we took a little family outing to Golden.  We like it there.  The scenery is beautiful and the little downtown is a fun walk.  There is nothing really extraordinary about Golden, but maybe that is what makes it so refreshing.  It's beauty isn't so grand that it can actually be taken in. These kind of outings are good for this mother's soul.  Sometimes I get so tired and worn out from the messes, the laundry, the bickering of kiddos, the neediness, etc. so when we have outings like this, I feel like it refuels me up and allows me a chance to really soak in my littles…because they are not staying little very long. :(

I'm pretty sure its only a matter of a couple years where I will no longer be leaning down for a pic & Zoe will be shoulder to shoulder with me.

Go get ice cream to celebrate why of course!
