Every year when Thanksgiving rolls around, I try to make a list of all the things I am thankful. Of course I always have the list of my fabulous and incredibly handsome husband, my precious babes that aren't so much babes anymore, food, shelter, freedom and so on. But this year I wanted to think of something specific. It was when we were home in Imperial when I knew exactly what I was thankful for. This year, I'm thankful for the many, many crazy fun moments we have with my family. If you were to enter our house at anytime during family gatherings, there is always something crazy going on, and belly laughs truly fill the house. I'm so thankful that in such a huge family, we all still know how to have a good time together. Not just a good time, the best time. Our weekend was spent laughing like crazy at Dad & everyone else attempting to do the Wii's Dance Dance Revolution, the daily happy hour trips to our local gas station where the sodas are half off (it's unheard of to miss it in our family!) where all who want to come load up in whatever vehicle is in the "parking lot", girl trips to Alco where I have discovered really does have some good finds, enjoying Mom's good cookin and lots of laughs around the dinner table, the sisters painting our nails and teasing each other to no end, and so much more. Everything is so relaxed and non stressful at home. Sometimes I forget I'm an adult when I'm home, and that is the best feeling ever. Thanks Mom for all the hard work you put into the yummy food- its so nice to take a break from cooking. Thanks Dad for letting us "laugh with you, not at you!" :)

Did I mention I got VERY sick the day after Thanksgiving? Well, I did. And unfortunately, so did Bart, Paul, Josh, Courtney, and then my kiddos. I haven't heard if anyone else got it. Luckily, it was a short (though nasty) bug, and I was mostly better the next day.
Sickly Camie & Bart :)

Seriously, Zoe is going to be taller than me in 2 years! I can barely hold her anymore.
Paul and Cailyn takin a nap, our family is good at the community nap time in the living room. Somehow, even if you get stuck on the floor, its still cozy.
We sisters put up Mom's Christmas decor while blasting Christmas music, breaking out into a few former show choir moves, and eating way to much cookies. What a great time. Oh, and fact: ALL 5 of us girls have been/are in Show Choir. Yep, just call us "Gleeks"- but we're mighty proud of it!
In my mind, my Mom has the best Christmas decor ever. I've never been to someone else's house and liked theirs better. Biased? Maybe. But still, I LOVE it!
more crafting...Mom was on top of things. After Thanksgiving, she had the Christmas trees out ready to be decorated.
These 2 are "bestest" of friends. They play sooooo well together, and of course they need to match! Well, maybe Christel & I like that part of it! :)

Zoe & Grandpa. Side note: Grandpa is Max's current hero. Every time we pray, he says, "Grandpa, Grandpa, Grandpa!" All throughout the prayer till we pray for Grandpa. Whenever he's playing with his trucks, he says he's driving Grandpa's trucks, and randomly he'll ask where Grandpa is. It's pretty cute.
