family vacay

For our "summer family vacation 2011" we enjoyed a long weekend in Winter Park.  We opted on only going for a few days, knowing that with little ones, ages 1 & 3, less time but quality time would be the better route. We were right! :)  We did have a really fun time, but it is not easy with small ones.  Here's a million pics from our adventure.
Grand Lake- to my knowledge, this is the first time I've ever been here, and it was breath taking.

My poor husband & kids, I'm ALWAYS snapping pictures!

Downtown Grand Lake, the "sidewalks" along the shoppes were boardwalk style.  So cool.

Enjoying a picnic.  We did a lot of picnics.  Not only is this  a cheaper route for us, it's a less stressful route.  Max is not at a restaurant friendly stage.  Won't sit still for ANYTHING.

Max enjoying an all natural soda pop.

What a fun idea for newly weds!

I thought this wine bottle, tree sculpture was so awesome.

A hike up to Adams Falls- Bart carried the kiddos most of the way.  What a manly man I've got! :)

At the resort we stayed in Winter Park- a fabulous Groupon deal! (I'm Groupon Crazy!)

More hiking

and fishing

Love this guy

Right before we went out to eat...did I mention it is rather difficult to go out with Max?  We ended up only staying at the restaurant for 30 minutes.  Grab your grub and go!  Oh Max, I hope this is just a stage.  I'm pretty sure your sister Zoe went through the same thing.  Yep, I know she did.

Fun at the park, Zoe making sand angels.
